The Auteur Quad is the 4-channel rack version of our very popular Auteur MK2 preamp. The Auteur preamp has become the studio standard over the last decade. Its transparent IC input circuitry and Edcor transformer-equipped colouring output offer a combination of modern and vintage design that has made the Auteur known as the "Swiss army knife of preamps" that sounds great on any signal.

Its strengths are particularly evident on signals such as drums and vocals that require detail but also benefit from richness and colouration. The main differences to the 9.5" Auteur MK2 are the new level meters on all 4 channels and the popular DI input from the 500 series Auteur on the first two channels. All in all, the Auteur Quad is a high-level 4-channel preamp at an incredible price.
