ADAM Audio Sub2100

For large control rooms and film studios, ADAM Audio has developed a very special type of subwoofer: the Sub2100 combines a massive 543 mm woofer with a 1000-watt RMS amplifier in a bass reflex cabinet tuned to 18 Hz. Thanks to the exceptionally high efficiency of the woofer (99 dB/W/m) and the immense power available, this system can deliver a sound pressure level of ≥ 128 dB SPL (!) at one meter—without significant compression, linear and powerful down to 18 Hz.

What makes this woofer truly fascinating is its 150 mm voice coil: the Sub2100 achieves the highest sound pressure levels in the lowest frequencies audible to the human ear, setting new standards in subwoofer design.
