Acoustica 8 Standard is the standalone audio editor for recording, editing, restoration and mastering in stereo, with spectral editor, multitrack editing and ARA2 integration with compatible DAWs.

In the spectral editor you can surgically remove disturbances such as dog barks, sirens, string squeaks or coughs; adjustable time and frequency feathering keeps repairs seamless, Stereo View shows stereo placement in colour on the spectrogram, Find Similar locates matching regions, and AudioFill fills even larger gaps with natural-sounding material. Built-in tools include DeHum 3, a lite version of DeNoise 3, DeClick, DeClip, Equalize 2, Dynamics, Limit, Verberate 2 and Remix, which splits mixes into vocals, piano, bass, drums and other. The Standard Edition handles up to two channels at up to 384 kHz and its tools run inside Acoustica only, but the ARA2 plug-in brings the complete clip editor straight into compatible DAWs such as Pro Tools.
