With this upgrade, owners of Acoustica 7 Premium move to Acoustica 8 Premium, the audio editor with surround up to 7.1.2 and an extensive plug-in suite for dialogue cleaning, restoration and drums.

Version 8 brings a completely redesigned interface with a new launch page, a dockable Processing Tools pane and a customisable toolbar. In the spectral editor, Find Similar locates regions with the same characteristics, time and frequency feathering is adjustable, Stereo View shows stereo placement in colour on the spectrogram, and AudioFill fills even larger gaps with natural-sounding results. DeNoise 3 and DeHum 3 run on machine learning models, so a noise profile is no longer needed, and Extract:Dialogue 2 offers separate sliders and sensitivity controls for voice, reverb and noise. The Premium Edition also includes the Dialogue Cleaning Suite, the Drum Production Suite and surround editing up to 7.1.2, and its tools are also available as plug-ins for your DAW.
