Hype was originally created exclusively for Akai Professional’s MPC and Force products and comes from the same team as Hybrid 3, The Riser and Loom 2. The four engines sound great individually, but together they create huge, expressive, multi-dimensional sonic textures. Over 1500 presets are neatly categorised, while six macro controls and eight editing dials let you tailor any sound to your project and save your customisations for quick access. Eight built-in AIR effects (modulation, distortion, the four-band Hype EQ, reverb, delay, compressor, Pumper and limiter) can be enabled or bypassed from every page of the interface.
