TubeSynth invites you to dive deep into subtractive synthesis in the style of the 70s and 80s, with sounds ranging from warm and pristine to downright dirty. Three oscillators with noise, saw, square, pulse and triangle waveforms, two unison engines for thickening, ring modulation and a low-pass filter with continuously variable slope and pre- and post-filter distortion form the sonic foundation. Polyphonic glide, filter and amp envelopes plus a third ramp envelope, and two LFOs with waveforms from sine to drift add movement. The layout is designed for easy tweaking with a MIDI controller during live performance, and AIR’s chorus, delay, reverb, compressor and Hype EQ enhance the sounds of the comprehensive factory library.
