The Fabric Collection comes from Akai’s MPC and Force platforms and brings their sound engine to your DAW: two multi-sample oscillators and a percussion layer with independent filter, envelope and LFO controls can be programmed from scratch or called up from thousands of presets. More than 3 GB of content ranges from pads, drone and sub basses through guitars, plucks, strings, pianos and electric pianos to classic poly and lead synths, refined with built-in effects such as EQ, amp and cabinet simulation, compressors, reverbs, delays and modulation. Alongside the flagship Fabric XL, the collection includes Fabric with the same sound choices and fewer voices, plus Fabric Piano and Fabric Electric Piano focusing on piano and electric piano sounds, all three with lower resource requirements.
