A dynamic drum and arranger instrument with a high-quality sample library and a realistic performance engine for drum tracks with a human feel.

Strike 2 offers 19 customisable drum kits recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville with up to three close, two overhead and two room microphones, from an R and B acoustic kit and a funky acid jazz kit to a big reverb-drenched 80s kit. You control intensity, complexity, timing, groove and dynamics in real time, and the performance engine delivers smooth dynamics without audible velocity switches; thousands of editable patterns, a Style Editor, audio and MIDI export and use as a MIDI drum module extend the possibilities. The built-in mixing console handles room ambience and leakage and provides a 3-band EQ and two insert effects per channel, from compressor and limiter to tube saturation, bit crusher, filter, delay and reverb, and you can also use your own WAV and AIFF samples.
