A modular additive synthesizer with a shape-shifting Morph Pad that makes it easy to create rich, swirling and captivating sounds.

Loom II takes a modular approach to additive synthesis, in which simple waveforms are combined into complex sounds: up to ten of its 34 editable modules, such as Octaver, Second Tone, Moving Filter or Noise, can be combined in a cell structure, with up to 512 harmonic partials per patch and a spectrum window for each module. The programmable Morph Pad morphs between up to four variations of a patch, either unsynced or synced to musical units, and new features include eight voices, a Spectral Noise section, four additional modules, two subharmonic partials and an X-axis mode for rhythmic morphing. Richard Devine and Mark Ovenden designed more than 850 patches, 500 of them new, which you can shape further with the Smart Sound Randomizer, three LFOs, four velocity-sensitive envelopes and drive, distortion, chorus, phaser and reverb effects.
