Stay-Levin needs only two knobs and two switches, yet offers plenty of depth and tone control for a surprisingly wide variety of signals. For this emulation, Antelope Audio studied the original’s military-grade circuitry and recreated every ingredient of its design – from the triode tubes to the vintage transformer, the coupling capacitors and the push-pull output amplifier. Bass and vocals gain punch and natural warmth, guitar and synth leads gain presence, and thanks to its airy, smooth high end, drums and horns benefit too.
