BAE-1084 is one of the most versatile EQ channel strips: known for its massive lows and smooth high end, it gets the best out of kick drums, guitars and synth bass lines.

Inspired by a highly sought-after vintage console channel strip EQ, BAE-1084 stands for a big, fat sound with massive lows and smooth highs, and it offers extended control over the frequency range. Even small tweaks deliver audible analogue detail – boosting at 220 Hz, for example, will not muddy your sound. The Hi-Q button narrows the mid band for precise corrections. To recreate the signal flow as faithfully as possible, Antelope meticulously researched the behaviour of the Carnhill transformers and all of the vintage components, switches and wires.
