BX3 is a three-band dynamics compressor that shines especially in mastering, yet is versatile enough to come in handy during mixing as well.

Whether you want to subtly glue an already great-sounding track, tighten the low end of drum-heavy music or tame excessive high frequencies, BX3 is Antelope’s own take on multiband compression. Each of the three bands for low, mid and high frequencies has its own input and output level, threshold, attack, release, ratio, response and knee width controls, plus bypass and mute buttons, a limiter module and an RMS/peak detector switch. Two selectable filter slopes, knobs for the low and high crossover frequencies and a lookahead delay that anticipates transients up to 20 ms ahead give you fast, intuitive control over every dynamic parameter. The sound stays organic and transparent, and despite its depth the plug-in remains easy to use.
