DRM-60 combines a tube preamp, EQ and compressor in one plug-in inspired by one of the most unique analogue channel strips ever built, adding warmth, punch and harmonic richness to every signal.

Combining a tube preamp stage, a musical EQ and a vari-mu compressor, DRM-60 allows complete tone shaping, from subtle colouration to full-on analogue saturation. Its carefully tuned compression curve handles everything from gentle levelling on vocals to tight punch on drums and bass; three attack speeds, six release settings including programme-dependent behaviour, a 50 or 100 Hz high-pass filter that stops low frequencies from triggering the compressor unnecessarily and up to 20 dB of make-up gain keep you in control. The AUX section adds gentle tube saturation plus bass and treble shelving, or can be bypassed for pure compression. It is modelled on a high-end British channel strip from the late 1980s that became a staple in tracking and mastering studios.
