Gyratec X is a digital recreation of a true beast among all-tube stereo vari-mu compressors, renowned for its speed and your key to a massive yet controlled low end.

Thanks to its smooth high-pass filtering, this vari-mu compressor from Gyraf Audio allows hard compression of the low end without dirtying the sound. The harder you push it, the more its all-tube vintage colour shines, especially in the low end, while the mids stay clean and organic and the highs open. As a fast compressor, it tames transients and sudden peaks without losing the impact and punch of the original sound, beautifully warming up the whole spectrum. The early-2000s hardware original features technology used in early limiters such as the legendary Fairchild 670, yet handles anything from vintage rock and roll to high-octane pop.
