LANG-PEQ2 is a faithful recreation of a solid-state EQ with expanded frequency controls, highly regarded for its pumped-up yet precise low end and airy, spacious high end.

It is modelled on a vintage solid-state parametric EQ from the 1960s, a program equaliser that has been in demand ever since its introduction. With a layout similar to the VEQ-1A tube EQ, it stands apart thanks to its expanded frequency control, which lets you set separate frequencies for LF boost and LF cut, and its simultaneous boost and cut knobs deliver a tight, controlled yet massive low end that does bass guitars justice. It offers plenty of width in the midrange, while its high-frequency bands give tracks extra shine, making it a strong choice for vocals and drum overheads – whether you are recording, mixing or mastering.
