VEQ-STU 089 is a semi-parametric EQ with straightforward, easy-to-master controls, inspired by a classic piece of 1970s Swiss audio gear.

With its minimalist yet practical set of controls, VEQ-STU 089 gives your sound a warm, authentic analogue treatment and is especially powerful on drums. The high-pass filter cuts at 60, 100, 150 or 250 Hz and the low-pass filter at 3, 5, 8 or 12 kHz, two additional bands at 80 Hz and 8 kHz range from -8 to +8 dB, and a presence knob with frequency selection adds the final touch. Like VEQ-STU 169, it is modelled on the EQ sections of fine Swiss mixing consoles from the 1970s to the early 1980s.
