VP Drum-All-Nite is a versatile 4-in-1 dynamics processor for drums, delivering massive gain reduction without distortion or unwanted artefacts.

VP Drum-All-Nite combines compressor and limiter, a meticulous gate, a versatile expander and even a de-esser in one plug-in. In a parallel chain it brings out the body of the drums, the limiter works in Peak or Avg. mode, and the Gate and Expander modes, also used simultaneously, tighten the drum mix while preserving its punch. It is inspired by a Valley People unit from the 1980s whose release control with Anticipatory Release Computation works like a look-ahead, anticipating the incoming signal to prevent waveform modulation and excessive pumping. With just four controls for Threshold, Release, Range and Output, the sound is quickly dialled in, on drums as well as on any other source.
