MD/E (Monolith Duck/Expand) from the M3 Breakout Series adds an extra layer of hard-limited duck/expand groups to your mixes, on any track, before or after any other plug-in.

MD/E lets you dynamically carve space between conflicting instruments: infinite duck/expand groups pull signals back or bring them forward, anywhere in your project. In self mode, MD/E turns into a compressor or level-riding plug-in. Attack and release can be set in time-based values or synced to the host tempo in note values, and the attack can be locked to a fast 0.07 ms in sync mode.
