Smooth Operator Pro removes the bloated frequency energy your tracks don’t need, such as harshness, mud and masking, and can reshape the entire tonal balance.

The plug-in works like a multiband compressor with infinite bands: when the energy in a band exceeds the threshold, it is attenuated, so even very narrow resonances can be removed without affecting the rest of the signal. You shape the threshold curve with nodes you can add and remove anywhere, and each node can override the global settings with its own dynamic profile – for example only the left side at 7500 Hz for a harsh cymbal, or only the sides at 150 Hz to clean up the bass. Despite this depth, the workflow stays fast: set the target curve and turn up the global threshold until the plug-in starts balancing. Two correction algorithms, Even and Skew, are available.
