Tekno is a drum synthesiser for designing hard-hitting electronic drums from the ground up without samples – a modern take on the legendary drum machines.

Tekno offers 18 dedicated drum engines, from kick, snare, clap and hi-hats to toms, congas and ride, plus cowbell, block and crash. Developed with circuit modelling expert Jatin Chowdhury, it generates every hit from scratch through a complex, non-linear VA circuit, so no two hits sound exactly alike; humanise parameters add further variation in timbre, velocity and timing. Analogue-modelled effects such as tape saturation, excitation, compression and a limiter/clipper combo round off the sound. Play it from the built-in sequencer or via MIDI, and drag sounds and sequences straight into your DAW.
