Grainferno is an advanced granular instrument that breaks your samples into microscopic fragments and rebuilds them into entirely new, playable sounds and textures.

Grainferno can generate grains fast enough to cross into the audio range, where they behave like oscillators – turning any audio file into a playable synth voice that stays in your song’s key regardless of the original pitch, while keeping the character of the source. Two independent source files can be morphed in real time using seven modes, and grain filter, grain compressor and grain blur shape each grain as it is generated. Three envelopes, three LFOs and three random generators connect to almost any parameter via drag and drop. A reorderable effects chain with delay, reverb, modulation and multimode saturation, plus hundreds of presets and factory samples, completes the instrument.
