A machine for sonic accidents that generates violent basses, strange resonances and beautifully inharmonic sounds.

RANDOM uses neural network principles to navigate an effectively infinite array of unique sounds. At its core is the RANDOM WHEEL, which generates new sounds from the two systems Synth and Resonator, while DEVIANCE determines across hundreds of parameters how far each spin strays. STRESS sets the decay length of the synth, SPIKE ranges from darker, warmer tones to edgier ones, BLEED and FLUID shape the colour and presence of the resonator, and in the X/Y tables with handcrafted timbres by the artist Phazz you morph seamlessly between sounds, inspired by ferrofluid dynamics.
