An expansion for BFD3 based on the Yamaha Hipgig portable drum kit, developed in conjunction with renowned drummer Rick Marotta.

With 7-ply birch and mahogany shells, the Hipgig kit has an upfront sound that suits pop, rock, jazz, funk and many other genres. The snare was played with sticks and hot-rods and the kick with felt and rubber beaters, and 15 presets in various styles help you get started. BFD Cocktail was recorded in similar conditions to the BFD Jazz and Funk and BFD Percussion expansions and the Mapleworks kits in BFD3, and it is designed to sound great with BFD libraries recorded in other locations.
