An expansion for BFD3 that captures a rare, vintage Camco Oaklawn drum kit, ideal for all genres of jazz, funk and neo-soul.

Camco drums are sought after by players and collectors alike for their clarity of tone and warm sustain, and this kit was tuned medium-high and recorded with sticks and brushes. It comes with Istanbul cymbals including a 24-inch ride and a 1930s Round Badge Gretsch snare as a low, fat alternative to the Camco snare; both snares were recorded with wires on and off, and the kick both dampened and fully open. High-quality microphones including a Neumann TLM 103, Røde NT5, AKG C451Bs and an AEA R84 ribbon mic captured direct and ambient signals, with a trash mix channel adding saturation. The expansion also introduces the stickshot, an articulation popular in jazz playing.
