An expansion pack for BFD3 featuring the BFD2 factory library recorded at London’s AIR Studios.

BFD London Sessions includes ten vintage and modern kits with dramatic room sounds, tracked through a custom Neve console with AIR Montserrat preamps and Prism converters for a warm yet defined sound. More than 80 kit pieces offer huge timbral variety, including the Ludwig Spiral Vistalite kit once owned by John Bonham and Ringo Starr’s Black Oyster Ludwig kit, heard on many classic albums. The legendary room at AIR’s Lyndhurst Hall is captured by two pairs of room mics, including a mid/side set that ranges from true mono to richly expanded stereo, complemented by three direct snare mics and characterful far room mics. The room mics make a huge range of rock sounds possible, while the punchy direct mics and silky overheads suit everything from funk and jazz to pop and country.
