The flagship BFD Player expansion featuring a Q Drum Co. mahogany kit inspired by the mid-2000s California hard rock scene, plus 348 grooves.

Dark Mahogany gives your productions the commanding presence of a Q Drum Co. mahogany kit that holds its own against a wall of guitars while locking in with tight bass lines. At its heart is a 24 x 18 inch bass drum, joined by a Ludwig 402 snare and a Q Drum Co. aluminium snare, one rack tom, two floor toms and Zildjian cymbals, with a deep, woody core sound and an authentic live-in-the-studio ambience. It was recorded at Middle Farm Studios in South Devon, England, in such detail that the dreaded machine-gun effect is absent. Five presets, an original mix preset with the raw studio recordings and 348 grooves complete the expansion, which is equally suited to hard rock, metal and pop.
