For source scripts, Plug’n Script uses the AngelScript engine with a JIT compiler, whose syntax is close to C++, Java or JavaScript; it also loads compiled binary scripts built from C or C++ and other languages that can export C functions. Experienced developers can prototype algorithms quickly, get a graphical user interface without writing a single line of code and export the result as an independent plug-in right from within the DAW. If you do not want to program, you can use Plug’n Script as a multi-effects processor with the included scripts and presets, covering sound synthesis, MIDI and audio effects, waveform generation, and file playback and recording.
