The bundle combines the DESIGNED and CONSTRUCTION KIT editions of Medieval Melee, with raw recordings and ready-to-use sounds for medieval close combat.

Recordings took place at armourers across Europe, in scrapyards and at archaeological sites, covering hand-held melee weapons only, without ranged weapons: flail, hammer, mace, wooden staff, dagger, large and small axe, spear, large and small sword, plus wooden and metal shield. The CONSTRUCTION KIT provides the raw material captured with Sennheiser, Sanken CO-100K and Schoeps microphones, with whooshes, deflects, equips and unequips, finishers and impacts. The DESIGNED edition adds ready-to-use sounds for ten weapons and two shields, including pre-processed gore sounds of stabs and slices.
