ReCenter continuously analyses a stereo signal and dynamically rotates it to the centre or a chosen angle without altering the stereo width.

The further away a sound source is, the harder it becomes to aim a stereo microphone accurately – resulting in recordings with a constantly shifting centre that would otherwise need tedious pan automation. ReCenter fixes such recordings automatically in real time and accepts both stereo and M/S signals. Once the centre is restored, you can widen or narrow the stereo image, shift the output angle or mono the low end below a set frequency, while a multiband mode intelligently shifts more complex signals. Ideal for off-centre field recordings, vocalists moving around the stage, or drive-bys and stereo whooshes in post-production.
