The sound effects library with nine V8 cars, including classics such as the Ford Mustang and the Ford Shelby GT500, for film, games and beyond.

V8 CARS is the third instalment in the CARS series after EVERYDAY CARS and CARS – SUVS AND VANS, featuring the sound of classics such as the 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle, the Ford Mustang, the 1968 Plymouth Satellite and the 750-horsepower Ford Shelby GT500. Onboard recordings cover slow, medium, fast and steady driving from engine, exhaust and interior perspectives, while the exterior material adds approaches, corners, distant sounds, passes, reverses, starts and rev-ups. Handling sounds, horns and more round off the package – whether for authentic real-time engine ramps in games or heavily edited film scenes.
