Surround recordings of geothermal activity from Yellowstone National Park for otherworldly, underground or extraterrestrial soundscapes.

The recordings capture the primal geological processes of our planet, yet sound remarkably alien – ideal for hostile underground environments, hellish scenes or landscapes on other planets. Recording took place at night to eliminate bird, tourism and transport noise, resulting in a pristine, authentic toolkit for sketching, layering and shaping your own environments. In addition to the ORTF-3D files, the surround edition contains all files in stereo, so you can use them instantly in projects that do not require surround sound.
