The library delivers professional crowd and voice recordings of male and female actors that bring the human side of combat to life, from rallying cries to screams of pain.

The foundation is a vast collection of single-voice one-shots by local actors, from attack shouts to pain and fear screams, from which sequences and group shouts of varying intensities, sizes and distances were created. Field recordings of separate male and female groups with multiple microphone positions add open spacing, while background washes built from stadium crowds and riots provide the depth of huge crowds. Emotions such as agony, fear, pain, celebration, fighting, begging, death, protest, work and war cries suit medieval, viking and fantasy battles as well as modern or futuristic settings.
