A collection of 123 outdoor impulse responses in stereo and quad surround that give effects and dialogue in film and games a convincing sense of space.

As most effects and dialogue for film and games are not recorded on location, these impulse responses, used in a convolution reverb plug-in, make them sound as if they were captured in a canyon, a street or a forest. Modelled with a method BOOM Library developed over two years, they cover natural locations such as canyons, snow-covered hills, grassy fields and forests as well as urban sites from bridges and alleys to ports, castles and underpasses, mostly at several distances, such as 0–30–40–70 metres in a medium-sized canyon. The surround pack includes the impulse responses in stereo and in quad surround, the baseline standard for professional film sound design.
