Nature recordings of the European spring, from bird choruses and frog choirs to wind across highlands, light rain and roaring rivers.

The recordings take you through Europe’s rural landscapes, from the valleys of Kerry, Ireland, and the field crickets of the Black Forest that only sing in spring to the wetlands of Sweden with their migratory birds. The recordists sought out remote, seemingly untouched places; a few settled landscapes and farmsteads with a very occasional, labelled sheep bleat are also included. This edition provides the same high-quality recordings as the surround set in stereo format.
