This edition of the Medieval Phrases series offers live-recorded phrases and freely playable fiddle and nyckelharpa instruments for music with a medieval feel.

The expressive tones of the fiddle and the distinctive resonant strings of the nyckelharpa, a keyed fiddle, evoke the mood of late medieval markets, festivals and taverns. More than 600 phrases in 8 fiddle and 7 nyckelharpa themes sync to your DAW’s tempo and are fully playable. For your own melodies you can also play both instruments individually, with sustains in 3 velocity layers, staccatos and pizzicatos with 4 round robins, plus trills and turns, while an FX page with reverb, delay and a 4-band EQ lets you perfect the sound.
