Moroccan Vocal Phrases brings the powerful vocal traditions of Morocco to your music with live-performed phrases by singer Nadia Kaawad.

Born in Essaouira, the singer is at home in many traditional Moroccan styles, and the library covers lyrical phrases in Malhun, Gnawa, Andalusian music (Al-Ala), Chaabi, Amazigh (Berber) music and Aita. More than 580 phrases are organised into 9 main themes and 2 bonus themes; each theme offers 15 phrases, split into 5 starting, 5 middle and 5 end phrases, plus 2 brief endings. As every theme was recorded in 4 different keys, all phrases are playable in any chromatic key with only minimal pitch shifting.
