The first instalment of the Origins series combines steel tongue drum and sansula in the Multi-Arpeggio-Designer to create warm, melodic soundscapes.

Origins Vol. 1 was developed by the team at Dynamedion and brings together two special instruments: the sansula is an advancement of the kalimba, with roots in traditional African music; its metal tines, attached to a membrane, are plucked and produce a soft yet rich sound. The modern steel tongue drum is played with mallets or by hand and, with its percussive sound, forms the perfect counterpart. The Multi-Arpeggio-Designer interlocks both with two fully customisable arpeggiators; more than 80 presets and 12 colour presets result in over 900 predefined combinations.
