Live recorded lute and theorbo phrases for medieval and Renaissance-inspired music, period pieces and ambient works.

Medieval Phrases Lute and Theorbo is Sonuscore’s first phrase library focusing on plucked instruments and takes you into a world of bards, taverns and castles: the light, heavenly plucks of the lute are richly accented by the deep voice of the theorbo. It was performed by Attila Völgyi, who teaches at the Béla Bartók Music School in Szombathely, is a member of the early music ensemble Capella Savaria and has played on soundtracks including Age of Empires IV and The Elder Scrolls Online. The phrases in Natural Minor and Dorian modes include plucks with 3 round robins, tremolos and trills and sync to your DAW’s tempo; both instruments can also be played freely, and an FX page offers EQ, delay and reverb.
