A 70-piece symphonic string ensemble recorded on a large scoring stage, with lifelike realism, fluid articulations and cinematic depth – crafted by composers for composers.

With S.A.T. (Seamless Articulation Transitioning) you can change articulation while holding a note – a gentle key switch creates a gradual shift, a stronger one a quick change, just as real players move from sustain to tremolo. The ensemble is bigger and richer than 30 to 40-player sections, yet more detailed and versatile than oversized ensembles of 90 or more players. It was recorded with 48 microphones in four positions, including 22 bleed microphones across brass, woodwinds and percussion that capture their natural spill into the strings. Morphing articulations, natural string change legato, key switch articulation sets for every musical context and composer-crafted ensemble voicings for quick cinematic sketching complete the package.
