No two pianos are alike: New York L 1926 offers an extremely resonant character that only age can provide, while New York L 1991 has the pristine, clean sound the manufacturer is known for. At just under six feet, the Model L is not a typical concert grand and delivers the intimate, real sound heard on many favourite records. Both instruments were recorded from multiple microphone perspectives, from close mics to room mics, which you can also blend. Reverb and a 6-band EQ complete the package, which takes up little disk space despite its sound quality.
