A transient designer that processes attack and sustain separately in both level and tone, ideal for shaping drums precisely.

Transgressor 3 splits each drum hit into transient and sustain and gives each section its own gain and its own 4-band EQ with selectable slopes. You can sharpen the attack of a snare without emphasising its ring, or remove low frequencies from the sustain of a kick while keeping its deep impact. Because it works on such short slices of time, even extreme settings such as a 20 dB low-end boost on a kick’s transient become useful. An adjustable detector with internal, external or MIDI sidechain, a mix knob and factory presets complete the plug-in.
