A virtual grand piano based on a Model L built in New York in 1926, with a resonant, growly tone and an intimate character.

The keys, hammers, strings and soundboard of this piano are all original and produce a resonant, growly tone that only age can deliver. At just under six feet, the Model L sounds more intimate than a concert grand, and in a smaller room it feels as if you are sitting right next to the instrument. Some notes buzz slightly when played hard, and the old strings growl at high dynamics for striking contrast. Four microphone perspectives, built-in reverb and a 6-band EQ give you all the options you need without taking up large amounts of disk space.
