A virtual upright piano based on a Hailun H-1P built in 2021, with a modern, full and clean sound.

Nothing evokes the intimate sound of a piano at home quite like an upright. The 48-inch Hailun H-1P was built in Ningbo in 2021 and combines that unmistakable character with presence and purity: a powerful, bright low end and a clean, percussive top end thanks to new strings and hammers. A technician set the instrument up in top shape before sampling, and it was recorded in a small living room with five stereo microphone positions. All keys were sampled, complemented by true release samples, resonance samples, pedal noise and sustain control.
