The compact version of Chicago Upright 1927 with one microphone position, capturing the gritty, intimate character of a 1927 Baldwin Monarch.

The 48-inch Baldwin Monarch upright was built in Chicago in 1927 and still has all its original parts and strings. Its low end is tubby and dark, its midrange warm and its top end resonant and clear with growly overtones, ideal whenever you need a gritty vintage feel or an intimate, real sound.
