A virtual grand piano sampled from a Bösendorfer 170VC that captures the European piano tradition with a strong attack and clear, piercing sustain.

Despite its compact length of 5 ft 7 in, the Vienna 170 sounds astonishingly powerful, with a clean low end and a robust midrange. The piano was acquired from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in 2007 and meticulously restored by European Piano Restoration. Its strong attack, clear sustain and expansive soundstage make it the centrepiece of any mix, and every note stays clear even in complex passages. Five microphone positions, all keys sampled, true release samples, resonance samples, pedal noise and sustain control offer choices for different songs and genres.
