A virtual upright recorded with the felt engaged for a quiet, soft and intimate sound, ideal for film scoring, ambient music and personal moments.

Ningbo Felt 2021 Pro is based on the same Hailun H-1P as Ningbo Upright 2021, recorded with the felt engaged across all registers in a small living room. Each note emerges gently, with brightness and overtones held back, inviting slower tempos, sparse voicings and subtle dynamics. Five stereo microphone positions – Front Under, Behind Close, Behind Spaced, Front Over and Room – range from close and woody to wide and atmospheric. All keys were sampled, complemented by true release samples, resonance samples, pedal noise and sustain control.
