Melodyne recognises the individual notes in a recording and understands their musical context. Pitch, timing, vibrato, formants, dynamics and note transitions are edited directly on the note – musically, intuitively and without losing the natural character of the recording. The Grammy Award-winning DNA technology (Direct Note Access) even opens up individual notes within chords, for example on guitar or piano.

Melodyne runs as a stand-alone application or as a plug-in (VST3, AU, AAX) and integrates particularly closely with compatible DAWs such as Logic Pro, Cubase, Pro Tools, Studio One or Fender Studio Pro via ARA Audio Random Access. All editions are compatible with each other; upgrading to a larger edition costs only the difference.
