A bundle of seven virtual effects and an instrument plug-in that replicate the classic rack-mounted Moog signal processors of the 1970s and 80s.

Rackmode marks the first time this entire line of analogue Moog rack units has been recreated as virtual effects; the circuit-precise emulations were modelled on the original hardware by award-winning synth designer and DSP specialist Mark Barton (MRB). The suite includes a phaser based on the 12-stage original, a 16-channel vocoder both as an instrument with built-in dual oscillator and as an effect for any DAW track, a ring modulator based on Harald Bode’s design with squelch control, a string filter whose filter arrays mimic acoustic string instruments, a frequency shifter, and graphic and parametric EQs. Over 150 presets, sync to DAW tempo and selectable mono or stereo modes round off the package.
