An algorithmic reverb plug-in that captures the expansive sound of coveted classic hardware digital reverbs and creates huge spaces with decay times of up to 35 seconds.

Galactic is based on a reverb algorithm from Cherry Audio’s Dreamsynth virtual instrument and adds modulation controls, pre-delay and an equaliser. A ducking function automatically reduces the reverb level while a singer or an instrument is playing, improving mix clarity without any sidechain – or creating dramatic shifts between a super-dry signal and immense reverb tails. Whether on guitars, drums, keys or vocals, it works as an insert or bus effect with mono or stereo sources, and its preset browser holds over 50 presets.

Features

• Authentically modelled classic reverb with modulation and damping controls
• Pre-delay from 0 to 500 ms and decay up to 35,000 ms
• Ducking with attenuation and recovery time controls
• Equaliser with low and high frequency controls
• Use as an insert or bus effect with mono or stereo sources
• Over 50 presets for drums, ducking, guitars, keys and vocals, plus favourites and user presets
