Effect plug-in that emulates the wild filter section of the 1980s Soviet Polivoks synthesizer – for drums, guitars, synths or vocals.

Filtomika is based on the expanded multimode filter of Cherry Audio’s Atomika instrument and uses Mark Barton’s circuit-modelled DSP designs. In addition to the original’s lowpass and bandpass modes, it offers highpass, notch and peak responses plus Starve, Filter Drive and Amp Drive controls that push its gritty sound even further. A syncable LFO and an envelope follower modulate the cutoff – for example for auto-wah-type effects on guitar, bass or drum loops. The plug-in works as an insert or bus effect on mono and stereo sources.
